The Perfect Gift :: Our Generation! {PLUS $100 Target Giveaway!}

This post is sponsored by Battat, makers of Our Generation Dolls. However, the views and opinions expressed in this post are 100% genuine and ours!

According to my daughter, no trip to Target is complete without a stop in the toy department. She could spend hours in the Our Generation Doll displays, looking at all the dolls, accessories, and play sets. I didn’t know much about them other than the fact the price was very reasonable…until we attended an Our Generation Event at the Cordova Target last week. Girls could bring their dolls and get photos with Our Generation accessories and photo booth props.

We had so much fun at the Our Generation Photo Booth event!

The comprehensive collection of dolls and accessories combined with my daughter’s obsession with them made me want to learn more about Our Generation. Citing values like kindness, philanthropy, and environmentally friendly packaging, the website states that OG is a whole lot bigger than an 18-inch doll.

“It’s about girls growing up together and creating the narrative of an extraordinary generation.

“And parents who understand the pressures of being a girl more than
any generation of parents before them.”

This all seems pretty deep for a doll company. But Our Generation walks the walk. There is a doll for every girl and her interests. Sabina is an artist who sees the world as her canvas; Sia, an inventor, says science is the art of inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking the rules and having fun doing it; Coral is a surfer with a heart for adventure; Sydney Lee is a ballerina who won’t let anything stand in the way of her dreams; and Nahla tends a garden that grows veggies, flowers, and friendships.  My daughter chose Reese, who dreams of exploring the world and learning about different cultures. Did I mention that these pose-able dolls come with a chapter book, bookmark, accessories, and extra outfit… all for under $35!

This is Reese. She comes with a chapter book, a change of clothes (and shoes), a purse, and a ton of travel accessories including a tiny passport!

Other dolls are available for $24.99-$29.99, and come in a huge variety of ethnicities, hair colors, eye colors, and clothing styles. Speaking of variety, there is a play set or accessory pack for pretty much any interest your child can think of for their doll. Want to have a potato sack race and a carnival for your dolls? There’s an accessory pack for that. How about camping trips, picnic, and kayaking? There are play sets for those. In the mood for ice cream? Your doll can have her very own ice cream truck! Maybe your doll needs to do some laundry? Yep… a play set for that too.

How cute is this ice cream truck? It comes stocked with doll sized frozen treats. It also comes in pink.

With such a comprehensive collection of dolls and activities, you are sure to find something your little one will love.

I think one of my favorite things about Our Generation is their mission to present quality dolls and accessories at prices aimed not to exclude anyone. For around the cost of other 18″ dolls, we were able to get a deluxe doll, outfits, and two accessory packs!

For around $100, we were able to get a deluxe, pose-able doll, two outfits, and two accessory packs! WOW!

The affordability combined with the quality and variety of Our Generation makes these dolls a great gift. My daughter loves her doll. And to hear her engaged in imaginative play with Reese makes me so happy. She has even asked for a travel journal like Reese’s so she can “take notes on vacations.” How awesome is that?
