Easter is right around the corner and nothing gets the kids egg-cited like an old fashioned Easter egg hunt! We’ve compiled a list of SOME of the egg-cellent Easter egg hunts taking place around the Memphis area, as well as some appearances by the Bunny himself! So get out the pastels, dust off the Easter baskets, and hip, hop, the hippie, the hippie, to the hip, hip, hop, and you don’t stop… until you’ve checked out all of the Easter fun listed below:

Spring Egg Hunt Story Time at Novel
Location: 387 Perkins Ext.
Date/Time: Saturday, April 12, 10:30 a.m.
Description: Bring a basket and join us to read a spring book and collect eggs from booksellers around the bookstore!
Recommended for children up to 5 years, Story Time at Novel includes songs and stories, featuring brand-new books in addition to well-loved favorites — we hope to see you there!

Date/Time: Sunday, April 13, 3:00 p.m.
Description: Join other midtown friends for this casual annual egg hunt at Peabody Park! Bring 15 or more filled eggs per child that you bring (and we will provide hundreds more!). Please arrive promptly at 3 so that your child’s eggs may be hidden. The hunt will start around 3:15, with a 3 minute early start for our littlest hunters 3 and under. Snacks and drinks will be provided after the hunt! Invite a friend!

Description: This event is open to children ages 2 through 9. Bring a basket or bag and prepare to find candy-filled eggs. The cost to participate is $5 per child. Registration is required. City of Bartlett Easter Egg Hunt
Location: W.J. Freeman Park
Date/Time: Saturday, April 12, 9:00 a.m.
Description: Join us for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the A. Keith McDonald Pavilion at W.J. Freeman Park. This annual event is organized by the Bartlett Parks & Recreation Department.
The Easter Bunny has once again promised to some and start the hunt and will stick around to have pictures made with all of the children. The Egg Hunt, for ages 10 and under, will feature plenty of candy-filled and toy-filled eggs as well as special eggs that win special prizes! The concession stand will be open to sell coffee, hot chocolate and snacks.

Jr. Firefighters’ Easter Egg Hunt
Location: Fire Museum of Memphis
Date/Time: Saturday, April 12 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Description: Bring your Jr. Firefighter (birth to 17 years old) to the Fire Museum on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. or from Noon to 1 p.m. to participate in our second annual Easter Egg Hunt. Kids will receive a special Fire Museum Egg Carton to hold the colorful eggs they find. There are limited tickets for each egg hunt, so get yours before they sell out.
Cost: Tickets are $10 per child, including all ages from birth to 17. All children must have a ticket to participate. Parents don’t have to have tickets, but the egg hunting is ONLY for the kids. Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are available on our website.

Description: Spring into fun at the Memphis Zoo with brunch and a special visit from the Easter Bunny! Germantown Parks and Rec Easter Egg Hunt
Location: Bobby Lanier Farm Park

Egg Hunts:
- 9 a.m. Ages 2 and under, parents allowed (check-in 8:45 a.m.)
- 9:30 a.m. Ages 3 to 4 years (check-in 9:15 a.m.)

Beeping Egg Hunt for Visually Impaired
Location: W.J. Freeman Park
Date/Time: Saturday, April 12 9:00 a.m.
Description: The Bartlett Lions Club will be hosting a Beeping Egg Hunt, where visually impaired participants can search for eggs that have an internal beeper. Each egg can be exchanged for a gift bag with treats and candies.
For special needs participants, there will also be Eggs with long poles to allow participants to locate them while using assistance devices.
