Coming up with my five favorite things wasn’t hard at all. So without further adieu, here we go! Check out 5 things I’m loving right now.
Hair Care Products
My hair is natural, and in the last two years or so I’ve been keeping it cut short. This is still actually shocking to me, because for years I refused to cut my hair this short. I have 4 brothers and my thing was that I didn’t want anyone mistaking me for one of them. Of course, I’ve since realized that would be a bit hard to do, so I got bold and got the big chop. This was by choice, and I’ve been doing it ever since. I also LOVE color, on the redder side to be exact. The shampoo and conditioner I use have been amazing with keeping my color longer.
Mom Fuel
I actually didn’t start drinking coffee until 2012. I only remember because that’s when I started my job and a coworker introduced me to a creamer I couldn’t resist. We joke now about how I like a little coffee with my creamer. Either way, this mama was definitely missing out on that “mom fuel.” A few months ago I was gifted with a Keurig, and it’s the best! I was using a pot for years and wasting coffee because it’s just me drinking it. And although some days I tried or felt like I needed to, drinking a whole pot wasn’t happening. So the excess coffee would get poured out; such a waste. But now I can fix just one cup of my favorite brew!
Comfort
Fall is my favorite time of year, and with that, of course, comes the hoodies! I own more hoodies than any other garment. They are so comfortable, and I wish I could wear them every where I go. But really, can I?! Most of my hoodies in the last year or so have come from http://goodandbetterstore.com/. They are a family owned business that brings awareness to foster/adoption; you should definitely check them out. They have the softest hoodies and the proceeds go to a good cause. I’ve also passed the hoodie obsession on to my kids. We have a hoodie for just about every outfit; you never know when you’ll need one!
Weekly Fix
THIS.IS.US. I mean, need I say more?! We, yes WE, love this show. The kids are glued to the TV when “This Is Us” is on. I love the show because it’s SO relatable in many different ways. Of course the adoption and transracial adoption are relatable to my family, but also the sibling relationships. There’s just so much in every hour! We laugh, we cry, we have discussions after every show and I love it! We are so glad it’s back!
Last, but certainly not least.. Favorite Meal delivery service
OH Grate! They’re local. Their service is phenomenal. Amy is super sweet. And every meal we’ve ordered has been amazing. Chicken spaghetti is our family fave!
