The Mid-South's Premier Parenting Resource

Lauren Brigance

Lauren is a true blue 901er. She lives in Midtown where she pins way too many projects for her husband and their 100-year-old house, while chasing after her little boy, Theo (March 2013), and hourly reprimanding her 3 dogs for barking at the wind chime. She loves to travel, being a fairy godmother, black coffee, pies, Bravo & MTV reality shows (judge away), Pancho's YELLOW cheese dip, the entire month of May in Memphis, Broad Avenue, black & white movies, green chile on everything thanks to her stint in New Mexico, obsessed with Apple Music and Moscow mules/red wine depending on the day.

If you're not familiar with the Lenten season, it begins on Ash Wednesday and lasts until Easter Sunday. It is a solemn religious observance that is characterized by prayer, repentance, and fasting. Lent […]
Go TEAL This Halloween!
Disclaimer :: This post is intended to briefly explain the history of the Teal Pumpkin Project, as well as provide options for non-food items for families to hand out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween. The idea behind non-food items is that all children can enjoy them--even those with food allergies. The author of this post is […]
Remembering 9/11 with Your Kid(s)
Much like when my grandmother can remember every detail of the day JFK was shot, and for my mother, the day of the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster, September 11th will always be a day frozen in time for me. And it will always feel like it was just yesterday. It was an unseasonably early, blue […]
