The Little Gym = Serious Fun

The Little GymChildren have an endless supply of energy and a natural desire to conquer the world. I should know, because I have 4 under the age of 10. So how can you harness that sense of wonderment and adventure? Memphis Moms Blog has found the answer! We believe The Little Gym can give your children that sense of excitement and physical activity they crave! Building confidence, developing new skills, and having serious fun in the process is the way they've been doing business for over 25 years.

The Little Gym has been the Midsouth premier gymnastics center for all ages of children -- 4 months through age 12. Their core gymnastics program develops your child as an individual rather than part of the group. They celebrate individual achievements, no matter the skill level! As a parent I asked them, "What if my kid just isn't into gymnastics?" Well, not to worry! Many of their programs blend traditional gymnastics with dance, tumbling, and sports skills. I found out The Little Gym offers a wide variety of activities to keep my children interested and wanting more. And with all the fun they are having, they don't even realize that the "program" is fine tuning their social and motor skills to become well-adjusted young adults, ready to take on the world! What parents doesn't want that?!

Know what else parents want? Free time! Winter break is coming up. Remember that endless supply of energy I mentioned before? Yeah. I don't want their  newfound tumbling skills knocking over the Christmas tree. This is why I was elated to find out The Little Gym is offering two different Winter Break Camps this holiday season! "Super Kids' Quest" is for ages 3-10 and "Skill Thrill Camp" is for ages 6-12. Both camps are three hours of structured activities the kids love: tumbling, jumping, rolling, cartwheeling, dancing and more! This gives parents a bit of free time to enjoy a date night (what?!)  or an afternoon to do grown-up things. All this comes with the peace of mind that their children are in good hands in a safe, clean environment. What's even better is that while The Little Gym does offer membership (and all the extra special privileges that entails), you do not have to be a member to join either of the Winter Break Camps. This just might be the perfect time to try out The Little Gym and see all that they have to offer!

It’s Time :: Moms, Let’s Do Better
I have a serious question. (This rarely happens. *wink*) When did it become okay to be late? Maybe I’m old-school or am just imagining it (I’m not.), but it seems these days it’s becoming more and more typical for people to casually stroll into meetings 10-15 minutes late, blow off dinner plans for an hour […]
Veterans Day and Our Kids
My first memories of celebrating Veterans Day are from elementary school. In my tiny hometown of Bruceton, TN, we had an awesome celebration each year to honor veterans in the area. Since our school had kindergarten through 12th grade in the same building, the entire school attended the program. I have such fond memories of the Veterans of […]
