Memphis Moms Pumpkin Patch Guide 2024
It’s pumpkin patch season! We’ve put together a list of places to get your pumpkins and celebrate all the wonders of fall. Not all are officially pumpkin patches, but they have loads of gourds and seasonal items to make any autumn-obsessed mom swoon. (Presented alphabetically.)

You’ll know it when you see a huge, inflatable pumpkin on Poplar just outside Oak Court Mall. This family-owned patch was previously located in the Poplar/I-240 Target parking lot. They have two other locations as well:

Great photo opportunities, tons of pumpkins, and be sure to buy some cider and pumpkin butter! Time it right and pop over to the farmer’s market to buy some local produce, yummy breads, and beautiful flowers.
They also have the Harvest Festival coming up on Saturday, October 19th (9:00am-2:00pm)! This is a FREE event, with a mission to help students of all ages learn about agriculture. There will be music, food, games, and fun as we give thanks for the harvest.
Digger O’Dell Nursery

Right at the entrance to this locally owned nursery, is an adorable “photobooth” set up for some quick fall pics. Pumpkins are separated by size and easy to access off high tables. But don’t stop your purchases there! There’s beautiful mums and other fall flowers to choose from. Nurseries are an absolutely fun place to take kids to experience so many different plants and trees. Be sure to watch out for the nursery’s kitty, too!
Emmanuel United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch

Opening on Monday September 30th, this year’s patch is gearing up to the bigger than ever! The pumpkin patch supports the youth choir at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. They have pumpkins, gourds, mums, and more. Bring your camera for some cute family photos — they always have the cutest photo area set up!
Falcon Ridge Farm
Enjoy this beautiful West Tennessee farm from the back of a hayride. They have a duck pond, farm animals, a Christmas tree forest, and, of course, a pumpkin patch! They grow thousands of pumpkins and gourds! There is also a corn maze and a market.

Hotshot Farms

From September 25th to October 31st, visit Hotshot Farms in Millington! It is a pumpkin patch and petting zoo and they offer a variety of fun games, from corn-hole to pumpkin tic-tac-toe. They have a hay ride, maze, corn pit, plus they sell pumpkin decorating kits! Children 2 and under are free and they sell concessions.
Fall Family Fun at Jones Orchard

Jones Family Orchard is one of the largest family-owned orchards in Shelby County. They have an arrangement of pumpkins, squash, and other seasonal produce. Be sure to check out their 10-acre corn maze (opens October 4th), which includes in-maze games: Farm Scene Investigation and Monster Mystery.
Corn maze admission: $10 for ages 5 and up (4 and under free w/ adult purchase)
The maze is open every Friday – Sunday in October, including Halloween (opens October 4).

Memphis Botanic Garden Halloween Hike
750 Cherry Rd

Halloween Hike will be on October 19 this year. Take a not-so-spooky walk through the Garden. Halloween Hike is a safe, daytime alternative to traditional door-to-door trick or treating with stops for treats, hands-on activities, learning opportunities, and more! Attendees are encouraged to come in costume, bring their favorite trick-or-treating pail or bag and hang out with friendly Halloween characters, such as Professor Fang, Princess Sassafras, and special guests from Playhouse on the Square’s production of Wizard of Oz, as they say hello along the way. Plus don’t miss family friendly live music by Andrew Best and food trucks Just Wraps, Fry Guys, Donut NV, and more will be on-site for a picnic lunch.

Midtown Nursery

The pumpkin patch is ready to go for the Fall season! They have a large selection of mums, hanging baskets, and fall flowers in the nursery, as well as decorative, carving and pie pumpkins. Open rain or shine!
Payne Strawberry Field
On Saturdays in October starting October 5, Payne Strawberry Farm is hosting a Harvest Festival. There will be a pumpkin patch, corn maze, craft sale, and other fun and games.

Open daily until November 3rd, you’ll love this 24-acre farm located on Germantown Parkway just north of the Wolfchase Mall. They have a petting zoo, hay rides, bounce houses, and more fun for the family (each attraction is an add-on price). You can even bring old children’s clothes to make your own scarecrow. Please note that on Saturdays and Sundays, no individual activities are available. You must purchase a wristband to participate on the weekends.

Child Wristband (up to 11 years old) – $20 (Includes: Hayride to the pumpkin patch, 1 kid size pumpkin from the field, access to the bounces and inflatable slides, train ride, walk through the haunted woods, petting and feeding zoo.)

Second Baptist Church Pumpkin Patch

The Second Baptist Pumpkin Patch offers pumpkins and gourds of all shapes, sizes, and colors along with hay bales, flowers, carving kits and more. Don’t forget to snap a picture at one of their photo areas and before you leave, please sample a complimentary slice of pumpkin bread – baked daily by church members – and offered as a gift to all guests to the patch! All proceeds go to support student missions for children and ministries.
Tom’s Farm

Located in Rossville, just east of Collierville, Tom’s Farm serves thousands throughout West Tennessee. Tom’s Farm will be open September 28th through October. You can even call them to book a bonfire! They will have hayrides to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin $10 a person, as well as a corn maze that will be $10 a person. The Torment at Tom’s Farm (terror trail) will be in full swing every weekend in October and will be $20 per person.
Wall Hill’s 3G Farm

The farm is only open for Fright Nights on Fridays. There are no pumpkin patch activities during this time.
The pumpkin patch closes on Saturdays at 5:00pm to allow the farm time to set up for Fright Nights. It reopens at 6:00 pm.
Enjoy picking your very own pumpkin right off the vine (yes they grow all our pumpkins there on the farm!), take a leisurely hayride along our farm trails and through the woods, or try the challenge of our corn maze. There are also fire pits available to rent and snacks to purchase.
