1. Youth Talent Contest Finals {Saturday & Sunday}

This year marks the 63rd anniversary of the Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Contest. This annual event is the largest amateur performing arts talent contest in the world. For over five decades young entertainers from an eight-state region have performed in the hopes of being recognized and catapulted to fame.

Stars such as Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass have competed at the Mid-South State Fair Youth Talent Contest. Past Grand Award winners have sung backup for artists like Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, George Strait, and LeeAnn Womack. Many of the finalists of this contest have gone on to do Broadway tours, act on television, and work with superstars like Lionel Richie and Janet Jackson!

Come and see these folks perform, and cheer on your favorites as they compete to win!

With the weather this weekend predicted to be so beautiful, who wouldn't want to get out and enjoy some time at the Mid-South Fair & Rodeo?!
