Where to Shop Yesterday’s Trends Today
We’re all looking for ways to be friendlier to the planet these days. And two great ways of doing this are to shop consignment shops for clothes and vintage/antique stores for furniture and home goods. Fast fashion clothes are made of less-than-quality materials and use an incredible amount of resources to make, all for them to be tossed aside quickly due to the poor quality and the expectation that consumers will want the next thing that’s fashionable. Modern furniture is usually made with particle board and is much less durable than antique or vintage furniture. So instead of buying furniture that won’t last and will have to be replaced, buy durable pieces instead!
