Easter is right around the corner and nothing gets the kids egg-cited like an old fashioned Easter egg hunt! We’ve compiled a list of SOME of the egg-cellent Easter egg hunts taking place around the Memphis area. So get out the pastels, dust off the Easter baskets, and hip, hop, the hippie, the hippie, to the hip, hip, hop, and you don’t stop… until you’ve checked out all of the Easter egg hunts listed below:

Carriage Crossing Easter Egg Hunt
Location: The Shops at Carriage Crossing

Description: Easter egg hunt and scavenger hunt. More details to follow on their website.

Germanton After-Dark Easter Egg Hunt
Location: Cameron Brown Park Baseball Fields
Date/Time: Friday, March 23rd, 7:15-9:00 p.m.
Description: An Easter event for the older kids (ages 9-12)! Bring a flashlight and bag to collect goodies. Eggs will be filled with candy and prizes are awarded. Games start at 7:15 p.m. followed by egg hunts at 8:00 p.m.
Cost: Free, concessions will be available for purchase
Location: Elmwood Cemetery
Date/Time: Saturday, March 24th, 9:00 a.m.
Description: Easter Egg hunt for children up to age 10. Bring your Easter basket because there will be plenty of eggs, including a prize egg. The Easter Bunny will be onsite for pictures.

Location: Children’s Museum of Memphis
Date/Time: Saturday, March 24th, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Description: Enjoy a pancake breakfast, take a photo with the Easter Bunny, and make a themed craft followed by a “lavish Easter Egg Hunt,” that will include deluxe candy, chocolate bunnies, and Easter plush toys.
Cost: $15.00 for members and $20.00 for nonmembers. Carousel rides are included with event ticket.
City of Bartlett Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Bonnet Contest
Location: W.J. Freeman Park
Date/Time: Saturday, March 24th, 9:30 a.m.
Description: The festivities will begin with the bonnet judging at 9:30 a.m. Bonnets will be judged on creativity, originality, and visual appeal in the following age categories: 3 and under; 4 and 5; 6 and 7; 8 to 10. The egg hunt, for children 10 and under will begin at 10:00 a.m. The hunt will feature lots of candy and plenty of special golden eggs that win bigger prizes. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance.
Germantown Easter Eggstravaganza
Location: Cameron Brown Park
Date/Time: Saturday, March 24th, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (rain date is Tuesday, March 27th)
Description: Games and activities begin at 10:00 a.m. The kids can enjoy a free petting zoo, moon bounce, and age-divided egg hunts with prizes. Meet the Easter Bunny and find candy filled eggs!

Location: Dixon Gallery and Gardens
Date/Time: Saturday, March 31st, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Description: Hunt for eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, and make spring crafts. Check-in at 10:00 a.m. for the South Lawn Egg Hunt (ages 4-8) and Picnic Area Egg Hunt (ages 3 and under), both of which begin at 10:30 a.m. Lemonade, cookies, and healthy snacks will be provided.

Location: Memphis Botanic Garden
Date/Time: Saturday, March 31st, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Description: Age-specific hunts, live music and magic, 96-acre egg hunt with prizes for the adults as well! The family prize egg hunt begins and 1:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. or until all the eggs are found. Children 2-and-under can hunt for eggs in the “Bunny Hop” area from 1:00-4:00.
Children age-specific hunts take place at the following times:
3-4 years: 2:30 p.m.
5-7 years: 2:45 p.m.
8-10 years: 3:00 p.m.
Before and after the children’s hunts, enjoy a magic show, live music, crafts, and activities. Photos with the Easter Bunny and concessions are available at additional cost.

Date/Time: Saturday, March 31st, 2:00-3:00 p.m. (registration begins at 1:30 p.m.)
Description: Collect 5 Easter eggs throughout the store and return to the registration table for candy. The hunt will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. and lasts one hour. The Easter Bunny will also be available for photographs from 11 a.m.-6:00 p.m. that day (check the website for additional dates and times for photographs with the Easter Bunny and Easter crafts).

Cedar Hill Farm Easter Egg Hunts
Location: Cedar Hill Farm (Hernando, Mississippi)

Description: Enjoy a day at Cedar Hill Farm; riding ponies, petting the animals, face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny! The kids will have fun hunting for eggs and playing on the farm. The egg hunts run continuously throughout the day.

Falcon Ridge Farm Easter Egg Hunts
Location: Falcon Ridge Farm (Toone, Tennessee)
