It’s hot and humid outside. The kids are antsy and a bit irritating. I NEED A BREAK. Just some peace and quiet, and maybe a little retail therapy (Honestly, I can only probably afford a latte and a cookie; the kids eating habits have tripled since school got out.) But shopping with kids is a total buzz kill. So…..Imagine Nation Playcenter here we come! Imagine Nation Playcenter is located inside of the Wolfchase Galleria, Entrance 1. This indoor imagination dynamism is amazing. They have play areas galore: a full-service kitchen, beauty shop, and a tool shop that every dad would envy. They even have TWO ball pits! This place is definitely among my “favorite things.”

Yea, this place literally make me want to sing. Keep in mind I’m a 35+ yr old woman. My 4 kids, aged 10, 7, 7, and 5, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They played in the ball pits. They pretended that they were in a gourmet restaurant and served the parents 5-course meals. They drove around in tiny cars and made new friends. Plus, it was great to chat with other moms about cooking (or our lack of it), kid stuff, and some really cool parenting hacks. (Mine are on a “Summer Schedule” and don’t call my name until lunch time.)

Hours of Operation:
The Imagine Nation Playcenter is open during regular mall hours, with the exception of Sundays. (They reserve Sundays for birthday parties!)
Monday - Thursday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
Friday - Saturday: 10:00am - 9:00pm
Sun: Closed for private events
Play Options:
They have 2 options for play. You can either "Drop and Shop" or "Stay and Play." If you want to shop alone for a few hours, get a latte and some Chick-Fil-A, or just see a movie, select the "Drop and Shop" option. You can also choose to "Stay and Play." With this option, you can sit back and relax while your kids play until their hearts are content. This is a great way for you to catch up on some leisure reading or surf social media. Either option, you win, and you won’t regret your decision.
Stay & Play:
$10.50 / child ages 2+
$8.50 / child under 2
$5.50 / child under 2 with paying sibling
Drop & Shop:
$15.50 / hour - 1st child
$10.50 / hour - 2nd child
$5.50 / hour - each additional hour
- Allows for parents to leave children for up to 3 hours.
- Children must be potty trained.

Imagine Nation Playcenter is located inside the Wolfchase Mall Galleria on Level 2, near the Dillards entrance. The easiest way to get there is through Entrance 1 between JC Penny & Dillards.

Safety First:
Inside you'll find enter/exit gates to prevent children from running out into the mall. While children are in the hourly care ("Drop & Shop"), Imagine Nation requires they wear their brightly colored, special t-shirts so they are easily identified. No adult is permitted in Imagine Nation without a child, and no child is permitted without an adult.
Plus, Imagine Nation is wheelchair and stroller accessible! The interior is all flat floor. Strollers are to be stored in the stroller parking area only.
Snacks and more snacks:
Kids seem to be fueled on snacks during the summer. Food & drink are permitted inside Imagine Nation but only in their designated eating area.
Oh, and don’t forget to wear (or bring) socks!
